Rock, Stone & Sand Yard, Inc has been a proud sponsor of Crime Solvers of Fairfax County since the very first golf fundraiser. To learn more about that partnership, we spoke with Mike Bragg, Executive Director of Sales and Marketing, about what keeps Rock, Stone & Sand Yard coming back year after year.
Rock, Stone & Sand Yard found its way to the fundraiser the same way many great partnerships begin: through a genuine commitment to the community. “We have always been strong supporters of Fairfax County, the Police Department, and the Fire Department,” Mike shared. “For years, we wanted to find a meaningful way to become more involved in the community, and when we discovered the Crime Solvers golf fundraiser, we knew it was a perfect fit.”
That connection has only deepened over time. For Mike and the Rock, Stone & Sand Yard team, the event is about more than visibility. It’s an opportunity to stand alongside the Fairfax County Police Department and support the mission of Crime Solvers in a tangible way. “The fundraiser provides a way to partner with Crime Solvers, and it serves as an outlet to provide information to the community,” he said.
The relationship between Rock, Stone & Sand Yard, Inc and local law enforcement runs deep. Police officers have been customers, neighbors, and friends for years. “They frequently stop by just to say hello even when they are not using our service, and that is special,” Mike noted. “We have a positive relationship with the police department and the officers.” Supporting Crime Solvers, for Rock, Stone & Sand Yard, is simply one more way to give back to the people who work every day to keep Fairfax County safe.
As the golf fundraiser has grown each year, so has community awareness of Rock, Stone & Sand Yard and the work they do throughout the county. “We are grateful for the opportunity to support such an important cause and look forward to continuing our partnership for years to come,” Mike said. “At ROCK+STONE, our motto is simple: Materials Matter.
