How We Help Solve and Prevent Crime
Crime Solvers of Fairfax County brings together community members, law enforcement, and the media to prevent and solve crime across Fairfax County. We are a volunteer-led, community-funded nonprofit, independent of the police department, and we have proudly served this community since October 1979. Through anonymous tips, trusted partnerships, and community support, we turn information into action.

Rewards for Information
When your tip leads to an arrest, charges, or the recovery of property or drugs, you may qualify for a cash reward, paid anonymously, no ID required.

Real Results, Real Impact for Fairfax County
As the oldest Crime Solvers program in the Commonwealth of Virginia, Crime Solvers of Fairfax County has helped put more than 2,000 criminals and fugitives behind bars since October 1979, and we are not done yet. Every year, the anonymous tips submitted through Crime Solvers of Fairfax County help keep our community safer. In 2025, we reached a historic milestone, recording the highest annual tip total in the program’s 46-year history.
